Secret Service agent, Uniformed Division officer, Administratives, Professional and Technical Specializations are the several types of jobs available in the Secret Service. The most prominent type of job associated with the Secret Service is the “Special agent”. Special agents mostly work across the United States in several states. Offices are placed in various places in the U.S, but the main office is located in Washington D.C. Their main responsibilities is to basically prevent financial crimes, protect citizens from different types of fraud, and protect the President/Vice president (this is also known as the dual mission). Other jobs include civilian personnel, including forensic scientists, psychologists, law enforcement instructors, human resources specialists, budget analysts, firearms instructors, clerks, accountants, researchers, physical security and computer specialists, graphic designers, photographers, writers and attorneys.
